How it works

From the season opener to the insurance check in one pack.

Storm is what shows up when you flip Zeno into Storm mode. The whole pack is built around one thing: turning the chaos of a season into a checklist your household can actually follow.

1 Tune Zeno to your risk zone

Five questions. Then Zeno preps like you.

Setup asks your primary risk (hurricane / wildfire / tornado / flood / winter storm / earthquake), household size including pets, mobility or medical needs, prep maturity, and insurance comfort. Every plan and brief uses those answers.

  • 6 risk zones — templates adjust for each
  • Mobility + medical needs surface in evacuation logistics
  • Insurance comfort scales the help — first-timer vs claim pro
2 Land in Storm Mode

One home screen. Every gap. Every action.

Open the app, tap into Storm, and you're home. The active storm or season is at the top — one tap to keep prepping. The next row covers everything else: family plan, supply gaps, evacuation route, damage log, claim brief.

  • "Continue" tile keeps your active plan one tap away
  • Live storm countdown when a tracked system is in range
  • Same bottom nav as the rest of Zeno — no new tabs to learn
3 Start a plan

Four fields. Two seconds. Then start prepping.

Name the storm or season, confirm storm type, set a target ready-by date, and tag the threat level. Only name is required — the rest auto-fills from your setup. Everything saves on-device the moment you tap Save.

  • Auto-detect tracked storms from your phone's weather hooks (optional)
  • Threat-level tag adjusts urgency in the supply gap list
  • Plans live forever — last year's plan kicks off this year's
4 Log damage — voice and photo

Walk the house. Capture everything. Build the claim.

After the storm passes, every room gets a quick walkthrough. Dictate what you see, snap photos as you go, and Zeno tags each entry to the room and damage type. By the time you're back in the kitchen, the claim brief is half-written.

  • Three statuses — Inspecting · Documented · Claim-ready
  • Photos auto-tag to the room and damage category
  • Logs feed the Claim Brief output automatically
5 Generate the family plan & claim brief

Two taps. One brief. Adjuster-ready.

The Plan Detail screen has the outputs you'll use most as primary actions: Family plan, Supply gaps, Claim brief, Contractor handoff. Tap any, and Zeno reads your setup answers, the storm's damage logs, and your policy details, then writes a draft. You review. Then you act.

  • Family plans are share-ready — PDF, SMS, print, or in-person handoff
  • Claim briefs follow your insurer's format if Zeno knows it (Citizens, State Farm, USAA, Allstate, etc.)
  • Contractor handoff is a structured packet your roofer or restoration crew can quote off
What Storm creates

Six storm-shaped outputs. Adjuster-ready.

Every output is generated from the same source: your setup answers, the storm's damage logs, and your household memory. You can edit any of them before sharing or filing.

Family plan

Meeting points, contact tree, pet info, medical needs, evacuation logistics — share-ready as PDF, SMS, or print.

Supply gap list

Your pantry vs what your zone needs. Calls out missing items, expiring meds, and the per-person water gap.

Evacuation route

Two routes with offline maps, gas stops, pet-friendly shelters along the way. Updates if a route closes.

Damage log

Room-by-room voice + photo capture. Auto-tagged by category. Searchable when the adjuster asks for "the kitchen photos."

Insurance claim brief

Itemized damage, timestamps, photos, policy reference. Formatted for your insurer if Zeno knows the carrier.

Contractor handoff

A clean packet for the roofer, restoration crew, or estimator. Your damage list in their format, not yours.

Real example outputs

Voice notes go in. Adjuster-ready packets come out.

Both of these came from the same storm — Hurricane Wilma walkthrough at the Douglas household. One you share with family; one you send to the carrier.

Built for the moments without power.

Two promises every Storm user gets: it works when the grid is down, and your policy info isn't somebody else's training data.

Works without power or signal

The OFFLINE READY chip lives at the top of your Storm home. Family plans, supply lists, evacuation routes, damage logs, and on-device claim briefs all work without internet. Even your downloaded evac maps stay accessible.

Your policy info stays on your phone.

Policy numbers, deductibles, and household details are stored locally in Zeno's encrypted database — obfuscated in the UI until you tap to reveal. Cloud sync is optional and off by default.

One pack. Every zone, every season.

Storm's setup asks your primary risk so Zeno can prep like one of your neighbors. Pick what fits — Zeno doesn't care if you're rebuilding after fire or boarding for a hurricane.

What is the Zeno Storm Pack?
Storm is a workspace pack inside Zeno, a private AI assistant for your phone. It turns prep into a family plan, supply lists, and evacuation routes; turns damage into voice-annotated logs and an insurance claim brief; and works offline when the grid is down. $19 one-time. Launching this fall.
Will it work without power or signal?
Yes — that's the point. The family plan, supply list, evacuation route, damage logs, photo capture, and on-device AI drafts all work without internet. The only things that need a signal are cloud sync, sharing a plan via SMS/email, and external lookups (weather, official advisories).
Will Zeno file insurance claims for me?
No. Zeno drafts the claim brief — a structured document with itemized damage, timestamps, photos, and your policy details — and helps you send it through your insurer's normal channel. You're always the one who hits submit. Zeno does not have direct API access to insurance carriers.
Is my insurance information safe?
Your policy info, claim drafts, damage logs, and photos are stored locally in Zeno's encrypted database. Cloud sync is optional and off by default. Sensitive fields (policy number, deductible, contact details) are obfuscated in the UI unless you tap to reveal.
Can it remember my prep year-over-year?
Yes. Your household memory persists across seasons — supply inventory, what you actually used last storm, evacuation route gotchas, contractors you trusted. Next season's prep starts with a head start.
Will it work for fires, tornadoes, and floods — not just hurricanes?
Yes. Setup asks your primary risk zone — hurricane, wildfire, tornado, flood, winter storm, earthquake — and Zeno's templates adjust. A wildfire evacuation plan looks different from a hurricane shelter-in-place plan, and Zeno knows the difference.
Can I share my plan with family or a neighbor?
Yes. Export to PDF, share via SMS, or print. The family plan is built to be shareable — meeting points, contact tree, pet info, medical needs — without exposing your full policy details.
Is my data stored anywhere besides my phone?
No, by default. Zeno's database lives on your device, encrypted at rest. Cloud sync is optional. Your storm prep is not training data for anybody else's model.
